Argus Protection Group’s commitment to the initial vetting, training and the continuing education of its officers is what sets Argus apart from other security companies.  Argus ensures the highest performance and integrity level from our staff through an ongoing continuing education training program.  The instructors are active training officers that provide our employees with the most current knowledge and insight gained from their experience on the front lines.  Each Argus officer must complete, prior to an assignment, 40 hours of orientation and training in established policies, procedures and security protocols, including counter terrorism education.  Public relations, security patrol and inspection, risk analysis and report writing are standard training subjects for each officer assigned to each property. We provide site-specific training prior to and during each assignment.  With Argus Protection Group the learning process never ends.  Employees receive regular training including periodic reviews of the Basic Officer Training Manual, films and lectures to keep up with the latest technological advances and modern threats.  Argus maintains and utilizes libraries with training programs, books and videos on each salient security related subject.  In addition, Argus works closely with its clients in tailoring both officer and client staff trainings in order to create the safest environment for our client’s customers, staff and property.
